The Camp Up North

As the summer of 2023 kicks off, our staff will travel up to Northern Minnesota and will be working at Camp Kooch-i-ching, located in International Falls. Program Director, Trace Dunning, and Field Trip Coordinator, Kyle Siebert, will be leading senior campers on a 23-day long canoe trip finishing at Hudson Bay’s remote town of Churchill, which is also noted as the polar bear capital of the world! Luke Dunning, Product Developer, will be teaching a woodsmanship course to campers, along with leading a trip down the Eye River in Ontario.

The Urban Wilderness Program will be returning in August to begin the 2023-24 school year, which is now jam-packed with boatbuilds and wilderness field trips.
