Experience the outdoors

Our program takes advantage of the incredible green spaces in your city. In local waterways, urban campgrounds, and "hidden gem" parks, we provide students with opportunities to immerse themselves in nature without having to travel far from home.

immersive classes

canoeing | fire building | Wilderness First aid | Fishing

Our staff members are dedicated to sharing their love of outdoor skills and canoe tripping. In canoeing class, students will learn paddle strokes, river reading, and safety measures. In fire building, students will gain an understanding of different types of wood and fire structures before putting their campfire cooking skills to the test. Wilderness first aid teaches students how to bandage a cut and stabilize a sprained ankle. In fishing class, students will learn how to set up their rod and about the fish native to our local waterways.

day Trips

CAMPFIRE COOKING | Woodworking | river reading | paddling

Day trips utilize local parks, and we provide everything you'll need: canoes, life jackets, tin wanigans, and fishing gear, to name a few. We’ll design an itinerary that meets your organization’s needs, whether that means providing transportation or selecting a location that is most convenient for you.

overnight trips

Portaging | Advanced Cooking | Tarp Rigging | Knot Tying | Camping

Looking for something a little more adventurous? Our overnight program offers the same core classes, along with additional skill development. Here, we’ll dive deeper into skills like knot tying, tarp rigging, shelter building, Leave No Trace, flint and steel, and advanced campfire cooking. With more time on the water and additional camping experience, this is a great option for organizations looking for a weekend getaway.
