South Carolina Success

East Cooper Montessori Charter School, located in Charleston, South Carolina, was the first school to use our Mobile Makerspace. Students used the fold-down deck, brand-new tools, and the trailer’s own source of electricity to build their canoe outside in the warm weather! Once the boat was dyed, gooped, and ready to go, students took their bright red vessel on its maiden voyage in the Atlantic Ocean. This trip reaffirmed our program’s goal of broadening its outreach beyond the Cincinnati area. Where to next?
